For this project I had the idea of having my friends wear super hero shirts or clothing and do things regular people do, but I then decided to just have them do a pose their super hero does. I didn't know what to do with the background so I left it blank. I was trying to get superman but my friend forgot to wear his shirt so I had to work with these three.

Boyd Webb
Boyd Webb was born in Christchurch, New Zealand in 1947 and
later settled in London, studying sculpture at the Royal College of Art in
1972. His work is really weird honestly I think it looks weird but different, a
good different. In his photos he has people or objects coming out of a substance
or a tarp. Like in the pictures below with the purple tarp or with the side of
the boat. The contrast between the background and the objects I think is really
good, the background is pretty plain and it makes the object in the middle
ground pop out more. It helps your eye to see the focal point. I don’t really
understand what the photographer is trying to say from his work. It’s really
weird to me but I still like it.

response to video:
I really like his work and how he uses wood to build his models. I like how he uses different ways to bring out the smoothness of the wood to make it look like a different part of the body. I also like how he plays with the light and shadows of the models to get a better picture then just point and shoot.
